Medview Airline Pledges Airlifting Of Stranded London Bound Passengers At MMIA

Following disruption of flights due to operational reasons, Medview Airline, yesterday, assured its passengers on the Lagos-London route of efforts to airlift them.

In a statement issued yesterday, the airline said It has reached out to  the affected passengers  and by 3 pm today, all the issues would have been resolved.

“We are deeply sorry for all the inconveniences suffered by the affected passengers and everything possible within Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) in aviation is being done to airlift them”.

The airline said it will not abandon its obligations to passengers, saying that safety comes first in all its operations

No fewer than 150 Medview London bound passengers were over the weekend stranded at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport following a snag developed by its B747 aircraft.

Investigation revealed that the London bound passengers were stranded last week when the aircraft developed problem.
