Kwese TV, the latest entrant into the pay-TV market in the country from the stable of Econet Media yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the management of LEADERSHIP at its Lagos office as part of efforts to strengthen its business relationship and seek for support to grow its brand.
Econet Media owns Pan-African broadcast network Kwesé – a multi-platform offering with specific products targeted at Africa’s emerging millennial market segment premised on the concept of TV anywhere and everywhere which allows subscribers to access programming on devices including TV, the Kwese App or website.
General Manager of Kwese TV Nigeria, Lizzie Amkpa while introducing the new pay-TV network, said the company offers a wide range of news, business, entertainment, sports, African, European, Asian and other cultures movies, series, religious, kiddies, fashion and lifestyle and music all in a single bouquet with over 65 quality and compelling channels.
According to her, “We have heard about LEADERSHIP Newspapers and its service across the country, this prompted us to pay this visit as the first media house in Nigeria.” On Kwese TV, Amkpa stressed that they have put in place prices that are pocket friendly and flexible for consumers.
“This revolutionary product is available at the price of N10,960 for a decoder, dish with one month free subscription and installation. We also stand out bringing Nigerians some never before seen channels such as ‘P Diddy’s dynamic music channel Revolt TV- the number one name music in United State; a dedicated DreamWorks animation channel for children, amongst others”, she said.
The managing director stressed that Kwese is proud to be the only pay-TV network with rights to premium channels such as CNN, BBC, Aljazeera, Cartoon Network, Bloomeberg and CBeebies.
