She said this during a press conference recently in Abuja to mark the commencement of the training programme for 1000 youths. "This is Annie Idibia Care Foundation, also known as Aicare Foundation’s free empowerment training for 1000 youths in Abuja. "We have 15 skills and over 20 facilitators who are professionals. Mrs Otuonye, a devoted mother to Esther, died at the Federal Medical Center, Keffi at the age of 52 after losing her battle to breast cancer in the presence of her grieving family members. The tragic news came just two weeks after Queen Esther Otuonye held her Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in Lagos. May her soul rest in peace.  
U.S. Entertainment Company Netflix, has halted the production of the sixth season of TV series House of Cards, as its lead actor Kevin Spacey, was accused of committing sexual assault on a 14-year-old boy. The decision was announced in a joint statement by Netflix and Media Rights Capital (MRC), a production company that makes the series. “MRC and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew.’’ The announcement was made following 46-year-old actor Anthony Rapp’s allegation against Spacey of inappropriately touching him when he was 14 years old. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara  Command,  has deployed more than over 1,000 personnel to hotels in the state to arrest hoteliers engaging nude dancers. The Commandant, Mr Wasiu Adeyinka-Ayinla, made the disclosure in an interview with the News agency of Nigeria (NAN) in llorin on Monday. He said that the personnel – intelligence officers – were already at their duty posts. “Our intelligence officers are currently in various hotels day and night to arrest hoteliers who engage in strip dance,” Adeyinka-Ayinla said. He said that the corps collaborated with other agencies to carry out the operation. The commandant warned hoteliers in the state against keeping guests with questionable characters. He re-affirmed the commitment of the corps to fighting pipeline vandalism and other acts capable of tarnishing the image of the state and Nigeria. The Federal Government says it is irrevocably committed to growing the creative industry in view of its importance to the economy. The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the statement while declaring open the African International Film Festival in Lagos on Sunday night. He said the government recognised the great potential of the industry to grow the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and had been supporting the sector to realise its potential. Mohammed, who described the creative industry as the next oil, expressed delight that players in the industry had already placed the country on the global map with their great talents.
