The march would have held last Friday, but a member of the media team of the group, Emman Shehu stated that it was postponed to enable the Muslim faithful observe the Jumat prayers and Asr prayers which was held at the Unity Fountain, Abuja.

The group during its march, had called on President Muhammadu Buhari to  assess the wealth of information and resources available to pursue a least risk option to rescue the abducted Chibok girls.

It had urged the federal government to make decisive decision based on the three available options; military operation, negotiation with the terrorists or the combination of both.

The group had also made a pledge to continue to stand for the abducted Chibok girls, adding that it would not relent on its pledge as it gave its word to the Chibok community to continue to be the voice of their daughters until they were rescued.

It called on President Buhari to shift from the discussion of  credible intelligence to political will, to decide on a line of action, and act to bring back the abducted Chibok girls.

It added that given the level of intelligence, especially with the  first-person intelligence that was obtained from the debriefing of Amina Ali, the president ought to take decisive action and bring the girls home without delay.
