Rap legend, Tupac Shakur’s handwritten lyrics have been put on sale for the highest bidder. According to a report by TMZ, it said anyone who can afford the amount could be hanging it on their wall.
The original lyric sheet to “Catchin’ Feelings” — from 2002’s Better Dayz album — is up for grabs, courtesy of the memorabilia company Moments in Time. Retail price pegged at $38,500.
The report also said Gary Zimet, who owns MiT, obtained the lyrics from an ex-employee of the studio where Tupac recorded the track in ’96 … and, wisely, he’s been holding onto the framed piece until this month.
September 13 will mark the 20th anniversary of Pac’s death, so he’s expecting collectors to open their wallets.
