Nigerians including school children on Thursday trooped emasse to the National Space Research and Development Agency in Abuja to witness the Annular Eclipse.
NASRDA had promised to set up a viewing centre for school pupils and students to observe the annular eclipse as part of its continuous programmes to expose Nigerians and students to matters concerning astronomical environment.
While addressing the students and other Nigerians waiting for the eclipse, the Director General of the Agency, Prof Saidu Mohammed, urged everyone to be patient as it is expected to happen around 8.am.
“In 2013, we were here for similar event. We hope it will help teach our children, future scientist what it is all about,” he said.
