Ahmad Salkida, the Nigerian journalist with links to Boko Haram, who was arrested at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday by the Army, has been denied access to his lawyer.
His counsel, Mr Femi Falana, reportedly said yesterday that he was denied access to his client, Salkida.
Recall that the Nigerian Army had, last month, declared Ahmad and two others wanted for alleged knowledge of Boko Haram and the whereabouts of over 200 Chibok girls.
The journalist is believed to have a good knowledge of the Boko Haram sect after covering their activities over the years.
Salkida said Boko Haram had confidence in his objectivity as an investigative journalist, having previously interviewed Mohammed Yusuf, the founding leader of Boko Haram.
