Nigeria and Nigerians deserve prayers now and always, Senator, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko said on Tuesday in sokoto.
Senator Wamakko and immediate past governor of the state who spoke while receiving a cross section of members of his constituency who were on Sallah homage in his personal resident within the metropolis, urged Nigerians to also embrace farming to guarantee food security.
Wamakko, who called on youths of the northern extraction who hitherto developed the habbit of traveling to other parts of the country during dry season in search of menial jobs to have a rethink and embrace dry season farming.
This according to Wamakko will be more beneficial to the youths as whatever they will save at the end of the dry season from such menial jobs cannot be compared with what they will get from dry season farming.
“I admonished all of you and all Nigerians on this day to in the spirit of Eid-El-Kabir intensify prayers for our leaders. Pray for our dear President, Mohammadu Buhari. Pray for our governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and pray for all those in whatever leadership position that, almighty Allah should grant them mercy and the grace to lead with the fear of Allah.
“For our youths, you must understand that the rainy season is about to end and another dry season is by the corner. Try to embrace dry season farming and avoid the mentality of going elsewhere in search of dry season menial jobs. What you will get from the dry season farming is 20 times better than that of the menial job” Senator Wamakko advised.
