Abdulsalami, Gov Bello, Others Call For Youth Empowerment

Former Head of State,  Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar has called on Nigerians to stop vandalism of government projects.
Abdulsalami, who was speaking after the two Rakkat prayers, urged Nigerians to support the government  and always work for  peaceful coexistence. In his speech at Government Lodge Kontagora , the Niger State governor emphasised the need for youths to be empowered, noting that youth unemployment was being  expeditiously addressed by his government.
He called on local government chairmen to also brace up and play their parts in addressing youth unemployment in order that the youth will not be vulnerable to vices that will make them useless to the society.
Bello and the Emir of Kontagora, Alhaji Saidu Namaska,  led dignitaries to say the two Rakat prayers at Kontagora  Eid praying ground while in Minna the Former Head of state General Abdulsalami Abubakar, Emir of Minna Alhaji Umar Forouk  Bahago, and Former Governor Muazu Babngida Aliyu also led other dignitaries to say same prayers.
The prayers in Kontagora was led by the Chief Imam  Shiek  Shehu Rimaye who called on youths to engage themselves in productive ventures instead of destructive acts.
Also in Minna, the prayers was led by the Chief Imam of Minna, Shiek Ibrahim  Fari who called for sacrifice and perseverance in whatever situation Nigerians  find themselves.
In Bida, the Wazirin Nupe, Senator Isah Mohammed representing the Etsu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, led dignitaries to pray at the eid praying ground.
Leading the prayer during the event, the Sheik Adamu Yakatu emphasised the need for Nigerians to imbibe  the spirit of sacrifice as embedded in  the celebration of eid-el kabir .
In  Also speaking the Wazirin Nupe Senator  Isah Mohammed  urged the people  to be patient with government as the government is trying  to fix the country for the good of all and therefore called on the people to  co-exist  peacefully.
