The member representing Zaria Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Dr Abas Tajuddeen disclosed yesterday that the sum of 1.6 billion naira has been earmarked for the rehabilitation of Zaria /Pambegua road in this year’s budget
Speaking with LEADERSHIP SUNDAY, in Zaria shortly after his meeting with members of the All Progresives Congress (APC) at his constituency office in Zaria on Sunday
He said other projects include construction of Kofan Doka prison road to kwarbai old Jos road Dakace; construction of road linking NNPC booster station to Gabari.
He noted that the idea behind their meeting was to inform members of the APC of government’s plan to provide infrastructural development within his constituency. Other projects to be executed within this year includes, construction of road network from Alhuda-huda College to Gangaren tukurwa,
Tajuddeen said part of his projects geared towards development of education in his constituency includes construction of ICT centre at Kofan Doka; award of scholarship to about 800 students from his foundation this year.
According to him, they are doing all things possible to ensure spread of infrastructures across his constituency within this year and next.
Dr Tajuddeen solicited for the support the APC members and assured them that from now to next year they would get all the necessary dividends of democracy.
