Recession: Emir Tasks Nigerians On Lifestyle, Canvasses Support For Leaders

Sequel to the economic recession and many other challenges bedeviling the ‎nation and the the urgent need to get out of the situation, the Emir
of Birnin Gwari, His Royal Highness Malam Zubairu Jibril Mai Gwari ||, has called on Nigerians to support their leaders at the helm of affairs in the country in other to resolve the problems once and for all and move the country forward.

Addressing journalists at the weekend on the state of the nation, the Emir said at this point in time, it is imperative for each and everyone to imbibe the habit of sacrifice and modest living rather than
ostentatious lifestyles.

“In as much as our our problems are enormous in this nation, they are not insurmountable, and any solution sought can be long lasting.
Whether it is economic recession, insecurity or otherwise, it can be successfully tackled. One of the most effective keys however, is that we must at this point in time imbibe the habit of sacrifice and live
modest lives rather than ostentatious lifestyles.

“That is why in my recent Sallah message, I called on the people to turn away from sin, change their ways of lives for the better and fear God. We must as a matter of fact also support our leaders in other to
resolve the problems in the nation and move forward.‎ Similarly, it is the responsibility of every follower ‎ to pray for their leaders always so that God can lead them right,” he said.

The Royal Father called on the leaders to seek God’s help in whatever they do so that their decisions will bring the desired results, adding that the right and qualified people who have good concepts and are
attune to the dream of the leader should always be appointed into offices.

He however expressed optimism that the challenges in the nation will soon be over while commending President Muhammadu Buhari for his doggedness in tackling the many problems which preceded his administration.
