A communications and brand expert, Mrs. Shola Okpodu has said that unemployment persists in the country because most job seekers fail to distinguish themselves during job interview.
Mrs. Okpodu, a fellow of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants said the job market is finally looking something like its old self, with unemployment on the rise.
According to Okpodu, the managing director of School Hunters, who is organising a job training workshop in Abuja between October 14 to 15, 2016 said it is not new to job hunters that anyone trying to change jobs (or get one) these days knows that plenty of employers are dragging their feet, taking longer to hire than at any time in more than a decade.
What’s the holdup? Communications Nd Brand Expert, Shola Okpodu, who is also the Group Managing Director of School Hunters says at least some of it is “due to the way candidates present themselves, and how they perform during interviews.”
