The Gombe State Police Command yesterday denied the rumours that some people were arrested in connection with the attack at the Deeper Life Bible Church in Gombe.
A press statement made available to newsmen by the state Police Public Relation Officer, Ahmed Muhammed, said the command had made no arrests in connection with the incident, which claimed about eight worshippers and injured many others.
It further stated that every bit of the police activities in connection with the incident had been made open to the public.
In another development, the police shot teargas at the protesting youths who they accused of trying to destabilize the area.
