The vice chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Musa Gwoza has commended President Goodluck Jonathan on the ministerial appointments he has made so far, describing it as a step in the right direction.

In an exclusive chat with LEADERSHIP yesterday, Gwoza noted that the president had chosen a crop of astute and qualified candidates to man the various ministries.
“The president made a wise choice in choosing the present crop of ministers. Apart from the two new ministers, all the other ministers have been tried and they have proved that they can run with the vision of the president in turning the tide of affairs in the nation,” he said.

Gwoza also congratulated the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed and the minister of state, Navy Capt. Caleb Olubolade (rtd) on their re-appointment.

“By retaining their portfolios, it is an indication that they know their onions and that they are capable hands in running the affairs of the nation’s capital,” Gwoza stressed.

He however enjoined the minister and his state counterpart, to ensure that they do not relax in their efforts at making Abuja conducive and habitable for all.

“To whom much is given, much is expected. I therefore enjoin the duo to ensure that they deliver on their mandate and that everyone is carried along in this dispensation,” he added.
