Spain's Alberto Contador was given a two-year ban by the Court of Arbitration for Sport for failing a dope test during the 2010 Tour de France.
Three-time Tour winner Contador tested positive for the banned anabolic agent clenbuterol during the 2010 race and was cleared by the Spanish federation only for the International Cycling Union and the World Anti-Doping Agency to appeal the decision to CAS.
Contador, a Tour winner in 2007, 2009 and 2010 who said contaminated meat was responsible for the failed test, is now set to be stripped of his last title.
The 2010 Tour will be awarded to Andy Schleck of Luxembourg.
He will also miss this year's race as he will not be eligible to return to action until August 6.
