A substance suspected to be an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was today discovered at the Police Barrack in Kabala Doki, a suburb of Kaduna metropolis.
The quick intervention of Police anti-bomb squad to deactivate the substance averted what could have been a major hit on the police in the state.
The occurrence caused serious panic in the area with people scampering for refuge.
