The three eminent retired jurists that are brokering peace between the reinstated Chief Judge of Kwara State, Justice Raliat Habeeb-Elelu, and the striking judicial workers in the state are former chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), Justice Mustapha Akanbi, former Grand Khadi of the Sharia Court of Appeal, Ilorin, Justice AbdulKadir Orire and a former Chief Judge in the state, Justice Saka Yusuf.

The identities of the retired jurists were made public yesterday when one of them, Justice Akanbi, featured in a live radio programme in Ilorin, the state capital.

It was learnt that the trio were encouraged to resolve the problem between Elelu-Habeeb and the workers by a retired Justice of the Supreme Court and first indigenous judge in the state, Justice Saidu Kawu.

A source close to the three men confided in LEADERSHIP that they are set to meet the embattled CJ on Sunday.
