Detectives at the Delta Command of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested four kidnap suspects in connection with the kidnap of one Mrs. Justina Ezeife at Ibusa, near Asaba, in December 2011.
Mr. Charles Muka, police spokesman in the state who confirmed the story said the suspects were arrested based on intelligence report to the detectives who stormed their hideout to arrest them.
Muka said: “The suspects include Isaac Igwe, Okeke Elijah, John Ozeomene and Nonso Uche all from Ibusa in Oshimili North Council Area of the state”.
He disclosed that one of the suspects, Nonso Uche was shot in the leg when he tried to escape arrest, adding that upon interrogation, the suspects have made confessional statements that assisted the police in its investigation”.
