Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed yesterday forwarded its 2012 budget proposal of N306bn to the Senate for approval.
A breakdown of the bill shows its capital budget at N293bn while its personnel and overhead costs are N42bn and N44bn respectively.
Meanwhile, presentation of the 2012 budget was stood down yesterday to enable Senate Committee on Appropriation complete their task.
Making the revelation on the floor of the senate, Chairman of the Appropriation Committee, Senator Ahmad Maccido said the delay was to enable the committee tackle one more gray area before presenting the budget to the senate for consideration and approval.
