Third Republic colourful politician and one of Nigeria’s most controversial statesmen, Godwin Daboh Adzuana is dead. The seasoned politician died at the Garki Hospital, Abuja after a prolonged illness with diabetes.
The development came just as President Goodluck Jonathan and Senate President, David Mark, expressed shock over the death of the Benue State born-politician.
The President also commiserated with the family of Daboh, the government and people of Benue State, the PDP family and the entire nation over the untimely demise of this great politician.
In a statement by Dr. Reuben Abati, the president’s special adviser on Media and Publicity, Jonathan noted that Daboh engaged himself in vigorous campaign and adroitness in mobilising grassroots support during the last presidential electioneering process.
