The mother of late DIG John Haruna was yesterday confirmed dead in a Jalingo hospital after suffering a sudden heart attack following the death of her son in a crash recently in Jos.
The mother Silani John received the news of the death of her son with shock and has since been unwell until she was taken to the hospital where she died.
“Mama Silani in has never had heart problem or diabetes not to talk of high blood pressure,” according to one of her daughter inlaws who didn't want her name in print because she was not appointed to speak for the family.
“It's all because of her son’s death because since the day she got the news that her son was dead, she developed this shock and her health kept deteriorating till she died yesterday,” the wife added in Hausa language.
Confirming the death of his mother, Mr. Yusuf John who spoke to our correspondent said Mama Silani died in a hospital in Jalingo in the early hours of Saturday but refused to disclose the name of the hospital and when she will buried.
