Another Bomb-Making Factory Discovered In Kogi

The security agents in Kogi State yesterday discovered another bomb making factory in Ogaminana, the central axis of the state.

The break through followed  information from one of the arrested suspects.
 
The Commander of Chari Maigumeri Barracks, Lokoja, Major General Alphonsus Chukwu told newsmen that  the development was as a result of  intelligence gathering.
 
He explained that one of the arrested members of the alleged terrorist group led the security operatives to the place behind a primary school at Ogaminana, headquarters of Adavi local goverment of the state.
 
He added that they discovered  the rooms being used for the  manufacturing of bombs and other explosive devices  by the dreaded sect,  after the room was forced opened.
 
General Chukwu further noted that  the  Haram sect had planned to launch an attack in  the state during this festive  period.
 
He said no arre has been  made in connection with the incident.
 
The items recovered during the operation were  meter detector, Police bullets proof vests, cans of insecticide, gas cylinder, guns and several cans of already made bombs and some police and army uniforms.
