The Bauchi State chapter of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), has warned its suspended chairman, Alhaji Shehu Barau Ningi, to stop parading himself as chairman of the party.
The care taker chairman of the party, Aliyu S. Abubakar, gave this warning in a letter issued to the suspended chieftain in which he lamented that Shehu’s continued acts of indiscipline would no longer be tolerated.
Aliyu reminded Shehu Barau of the letter served on him
by the National Secretariat of the party in which he was directed to stop issuing any press statements in the name of the party and to withdraw all cases pending in Court.
It would be recalled that Shehu Barau Ningi was via a letter from the National Secretariat of the Party dated February 22, 2012 suspended as member of the CPC for what the party described as gross intransigence, insubordination, anti-party activities and disrespect for the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.
