Transaction on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) sustained upward trend for the third consecutive day yesterday, even as market indicator rose by N94 billion.
Also in the trading day, the market capitalisation of 187 first-tier equities appreciated by N93.88 billion to close at N6.82 trillion as against the appreciation by N97.48 billion recorded in the preceding session to close at N6.72 trillion.
Ninety One (91) equities were traded as against the previous 95 with more activities recorded in financial services, consumer goods, conglomerates, oil and gas, industrial goods, healthcare services, agriculture, ICT, construction/real estate and natural resources sectors.
