President Goodluck Jonathan will on Thursday attend an Extra-Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
A statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, said the summit would discuss the current situation in Mali and Guinea-Bissau.
Abati said the President would return to Abuja at the end of the one-day meeting.
He said that the Jonathan is also expected to attend the 14th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Lake Chad Basin Commission in N’Djamena, the Chad capital on April 30.
The summit in Chad according to the statement, would discuss the situation of the Lake.
Abati said the President would return to Abuja after the summit same day.
