Victims of the dastardly bomb blast that occurred on Thursday at the Abuja office of ThisDay Newspaper; might have a sigh of relief soon as the government promised to foot all their medical bills.

This position was made known yesterday, when the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed visited the victims receiving treatment at the National Hospital, Abuja.

The minister, who expressed sympathy to the victims, wished them quick recovery, urging them not to lose hope as Nigerians and its government is with them in this critical moment of their lives.

Mohammed, who noted that the bombings and security threats constitute a challenge against all Nigerians stressed on the need for all to collectively rise to the challenge.

In the meantime, an official in the information unit of the National Hospital, Abuja, who is not authorised to speak to the press told LEADERSHIP WEEKEND that six out of the seven victims who were initially admitted at the hospital are responding to treatment while a lady who sustained a minor injury has been discharged.
