Uduaghan Wants Region To Take Advantage Of Gas

Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has enjoined the South-South region to take advantage of the availability of gas resources in the region to enhance  its power generation.

Uduaghan gave the advise while responding to questions during an interactive session with participants at the grand finale of the South-South Economic Summit in Asaba.

He said priority  should be given to Information and Communication Technology (ICT), adding that the people of the region would be affected positively with ICT.

The governor said that the health sector would continue to receive government’s attention to ensure quality health delivery in the region

Uduaghan maintained that his administration and those of the five other South-South states were poised to initiate and implement policies that would improve the economy of the region.

He re-emphasised the need for micro-credit empowerment scheme for the people of the region, adding that this initiative would continue to fashion out ways of creating employment  for the region.

 which he said make them self reliant.
