Globacom Limited  has introduced a unique, low tariff calling platform tagged Oloja, a variant of Glo Infinito tariff platform, for market men and women in Ogun State in the company’s bid to make telephony affordable to them.

The Globacom Business Director, Lagos 1, Mr Akeem Kazeem, who stood in for the Group Chief Operating Officer said with the Oloja tariff plan, the traders have the opportunity to carry out their commercial activities while spending less on calls to their customers.”Consequently, we are offering more value for money, quality service delivery and a slice of the prosperity Globacom promised to its subscribers in Nigeria and across the African continent”, he added.

According to him, Globacom chose to tap into the huge informal sector of the economy by partnering with the market associations in Ogun State in order to develop a new platform based on the new Infinito rate but with more and cheaper offerings.

On the platform, the traders will make on and off network calls at 25k per second on each of the SIMS designated for the purpose and can also register five friends and family to whom they can make calls at 18k per second on the Glo network.

While responding, the President of the Market Men and Women Association of Ogun State, Chief (Mrs) Ayisat Ebun Iyaniwura expressed appreciation for the good gesture and pledged to ensure that all members of the association availed themselves of the opportunity to enjoy the largesse from Globacom.
