Osun West Senatorial District of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has congratulated the State Governor, Mr. Ruaf Aregbesola on his 55th birthday.
In a congratulatory message to the Governor, signed by Chief Ishola Oyewumi and Honourable Akintola Omolaoye, the Chairman and Secretary respectively on behalf of party leaders, political appointees and elected party members from the district a copy of which was made available to LEADERSHIP in Osogbo yesterday, extolled his virtues as a good, focused and reliable leader that could be trusted and relied upon by the followers at all time.
They also saluted the uncommon courage and perseverance displayed by Governor Aregbesola during the dark three and half years of inglorious rule of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola led Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the State to reclaim his mandate in November,2010.
The party chieftains described Aregbesola as genuine democrat, dogged fighter, grassroots mobiliser and embodiment of good governance.
This was even as they described his administration in the state as unusual because of the tremendous impact within the shortest period of time in office on the life of the people of the state.
They commended his government for employing 20,000 unemployed youths within the first 100 days of the administration and noted that it was a feat any government has not attained in the political history of the country since independence in 1960.
