FRSC Commander Charges Road Users On Traffic Rules

Mr Kehinde Adeleye, the new Zonal Commander of the FRSC, Ilorin, on Friday called on road users to join hands with the commission to eradicate road traffic crashes.

Adeleye said the feat would be achieved if traffic rules and regulations were obeyed to the latter.

This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin, issued by Reginald Ezurike, the Zonal Public Education Officer.

The statement quoted the new principal officer as saying that he had resolved to ensure strict implementation of measures geared towards achieving the commission’s vision.

According to him, the zone is posed to create safer motoring environment through enforcement of all relevant road traffic regulations and public enlightenment.

However, prior to his posting to the zone comprising, Kwara, Kogi and Ekiti, Adeleye was the Head of Manpower Development, Department of Training, Standard and Certification at the National Headquarters.

The officer took over from Commander Abdullahi Ringim, who had been posted to the National Headquarters as Corps Medical and Rescue Services Officer.
