Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed has assured that the FCT administration is determined to reduce housing deficit and crash high cost of rent in the territory.
According to a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the minister, Muhammad Sule, the minister gave the assurance, while receiving the Managing-director and other executive members of Cowry Asset Management Limited, who paid him a visit in his office.
The Minister lamented that the current high cost of rent was beyond the reach of medium and low income adding that it was because of this, among others that his administration had undertaken to open up 10 new districts to be undertaken between now and 2015.
