Former NFA Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, has said that he was satisfied with the Super Eagles 1-1 draw away to Malawi, but urged the team to consolidate on that by going for an outright and massive win against Rwanda, tomorrow in Calabar, in a Nations Cup qualifier.

Galadima said that one of the ways by which the team can play under less pressure is to score an early goal in the game against Rwanda.

“I acknowledge what the NFF and Keshi are trying to do by raising a new team but we must avoid the type of pressure that the team put all football lovers in the game against Namibia, by going for early goals and I know we have the quality of players to do exactly that”, he said.

Similarly, Cross River state Sports Commissioner, Patrick Ugbe, has urged Nigerians from all works of life to ensure that the UJ Esuene Stadium is filled to capacity with cheering fans.

Already, the Nigeria Football and Other Sports Supporters Club, have been drumming for support round the Canaan City with commendable results, but Ugbe said the game is a national assignment and he expects fans from states as far as Lagos, Rivers and even the Northern part of the country, hence his clarion call on all Nigerians.
