Stand -up Comedian, Akinlami Babatunde Julius, popularly known as Elenu has revealed the secret behind his bachelorhood.
The comedian came to limelight in 2006, when he emerged winner of AY’s Open Mic Night comedy competition.He has kept sealed lips until recently about his marital status.
He spoke exclusively to Entertainment Rendezvous, that he is not married because he is still saving up for his wedding.
According to him “I am still single but not searching because I am saving up for the marriage. The person I am dating is an Igbo girl and she is the only girl in her family.”
The hilarious comedian, further revealed that even with the spite he gets from being a comedian he still enjoys what he does
“People do not believe that I ever get serious, but when I am off stage I get serious.
People do not ever get to believe that you are serious they just see you on the road and say see that goat, or see that foolish boy. I don’t get angry though because it is the life of a comedian, we just accept it the way it comes, the life of a comedian is wonderful there is nothing there that puts me off.”
While talking about his yet to be produced work he stated “I will be releasing some of my works soon but like the politicians would say, it is in the pipeline and my fans will be expecting it when the pipeline bursts.”
