Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has sent a goodwill message to the Nigeria U20 team, the Flying Eagles, urging them to make the country proud on Sunday in Tanzania.

In a message conveyed to the team by NFF technical committee chairman, Chris Green, Keshi said the Flying Eagles should not panic or play under any pressure, but instead go out there to enjoy themselves and win this 2013 African Youth Championship qualifier.

“We are behind you and are praying for your success. We are confident you will come out victorious in this match,” Keshi said.

“You should therefore, not panic, but instead play your normal game and win for our country.”

Flying Eagles coach John Obuh thanked Keshi for his kind words of encouragement and promised that his team will deliver.

“We are very mindful of what we need to do on Sunday and so we will not disappoint Nigeria,” Obuh assured.

Tanzania will host Nigeria in a first leg 2013 African Youth Championship qualifying match on Sunday with the return leg match in Ilorin a fortnight later.

The overall winners of this encounter will take on the winners of the game between South Africa and Congo for a place in next year’s AYC to be staged by Algeria from March.
