The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) yesterday described the bombing of the UN House, Abuja as a bestial act that should be condemned by all and sundry
Comrade Owei Lakemfa, the Acting General Secretary of the congress said in Abuja that the congress is shocked and see it as an act of terrorism against humanity.
He, however, said the incident was a wake-up call to the Nigerian Government to take the issue of security seriously.
"The Nigeria Labour Congress is shocked beyond words over the bombing of the UN building in Abuja which houses 26 UN organisations in Nigeria.
"This is a comprehensive act of bestial terrorism against humanity could only have been carried out by people who have lost their minds.
"Nigeria workers mourn with humanity this tragic loss of precious lives.
"We condole families of the victims. This attack is a wake-up call on the Nigeria Government to take security matters much more seriously."
