Husband Sets Wife, Children Ablaze In Delta

An allegedly demented hubby who doubles as pastor of Living Faith Church, (alias Winners’ Chapel) in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, has allegedly set his wife and two children ablaze after  he had beaten them severally.
 
Family sources said Francis (surname witheld), a native of Okpai, Ndokwa East Council, of the state allegedly beat up his wife and two kids to a stupor with dangerous weapons at wee hours last Thursday on his returns from Benin-uselu psychiatric hospital where he reportedly stayed for two weeks and treated for partial disorderliness.
 
As it were, his wife, a primary school teacher and his kids have had cause to be frightened by his strange actions in the early hours of on Thursday before the incident and were said to have reported the matter to a neighbor who did advised them not to be afraid, but this was however not to be as it was learnt that Francis who allegedly has been smoking Indian hemp: a situation that worsened his health problem, descended on his wife over her refusal for love making.
 
He was said to have gagged her month and that of the two kids to avoid them shouting that would attract neighbour but unfortunately for him, his wife allegedly slumped to death while the kids were cloaked.

He was reportedly said to have removed their corpses that mid night to a bush path where he allegedly set them ablaze and ran to the police station in Kwale where he surrendered himself.

Police authorities in Kwale conformed that Francis was detained and confessed to his sins adding he has been sick of undisclosed ailment.
But police spokesman in the state ASP Charles Muka, also confirmed that Francis parades a certificate of discharge from Uselu- psychiatric Hospital an indications that something was wrong with his brain.
