The Super Falcons will today play its third warm-up game since setting up camp in Saalfelden, Austria, on May 26. The African champions will engage the Austrian national women’s team in a friendly as preparations ahead the Women’s World Cup.
The game, which will be played at the Stadion Leogang, only five minutes’ drive from the Falcons’ Hotel Saliterhof abode in Saalfelden, starts at 6.30pm Austria time (5.30pm Nigeria time).
Six-time champions of the African continent, the Super Falcons have played in every FIFA World Cup finals since the inaugural tournament in China 20 years ago.
They defeated Austrian first division team, Wacker Innsbruck 7-0 in their first friendly match on Sunday, May 29 and piped the Czech Republic National team 1-0 on Wednesday, 1st June.
