Goldstreet Church, First Avenue, FHA, Lugbe held an anointing Service with
Gold Voice Choir recently. Pastor Caleb Agosaah preached on “Their burdens were lifted through the anointing.” Adepoju Esther was at the event.
God created the world with the intention that it would be in peace. Satan was not happy with the purpose of God. He, therefore, twarted this plan by causing man to disobey God, thereby, bringing the wrath of God on man. In His plan, He created man and animals. He made everything according to His own time. God planted good seeds in the Garden of Eden, but man allowed himself to be manipulated by Satan. From there, sin entered into the world.
In the book of Genesis 8:22, God said; ‘While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest and cold and heat, summer and winter and day and night shall not cease.’ This means God would not destroy the world again with flood. He made this covenant with Noah and generations to come.
Pastor Caleb made an illustration using a pregnant woman to show how God works with time, beginning from the time of planting to the time of harvest. The devil is not happy with this divine arrangement. He always tries to counteract this order. This is why in the case of an expectant mother, Satan comes to cause miscarriage so that the harvest would not be bountiful.
Every woman is created to exhibit the seed time as well as the harvest time. When a couple meets and the woman becomes pregnant, that is the seed time, but in all, so many women are barren because the devil does not want the seed time to manifest in their lives.
In the book of Isaiah 10: 27, And it shall come to pass in that day that their burden shall be taken away from their shoulder, and their yoke from off their neck and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. God promised to destroy the work of the devil with the anointing. Every barren women shall be delivered and the yoke will be lifted by the anointing.
Pastor Caleb also made it known that before we were formed in the womb, God already knew what we would be, but the only obstacle to our progress in life is the devil. God spoke the same word to Prophet Jeremiah that ‘I know you before you were formed in the womb.’
He also said that if we keep God’s word in our hearts and always obey His commandement, through His anointing, out yoke shall be broken and His covenant of the day and night will he keep with us.
Pastor Caleb urged members to walk in the ways of God. By disobeying God means telling God that His way and power are meaningless to us. We need to live a life that God will be happy with. He implored all to allow God’s anointing to continue flowing and working perfectly in their lives.
According to him, God blessed the hands of Abraham, Jacob and Isaac for prosperity in all their deeds. We work but at the end, there is no result to show the world what we are doing, but through the anointing, the yoke of barreness in our business is broken and we are bound to prosper in all our endeavours.
