The National president of Miyetti Allah, a fulani social cultural group, Alhaji Bello Bodejo Abdullahi, has blamed the officials of Nasarawa state pilgrims welfare board for the problems the state pilgrims in the holy land are encountering. This is even as the pilgrims  plan to protest on the day of Arafat to register their grievances.
Speaking with LEADERSHIP from Mecca in a telephone conversation, Bodejo said that the officials did not live up to expectations in terms of accommodation and transportation

He said that where the state pilgrims where accommodated was very far from the holy mosque(ka,abba) making it exremely difficuilt for them to commute easily to and from the mosque.

Alhaji Bodejo exonerated the state governor, Alhaji Umar Tanko Al-makura from the blamed as regard the issue at stake.
“The officials are trying to tarnish the image of the state governor Umar Tanko Al-makura by playing politics with    religion,” he said and added  that our pilgrims were helpless as there were no decent accommodation and proper medical attention.

The miyetti Allah helmsman also said that the officials were pointing accusing fingers to the governor for the difficuilties the pilgrims are encountering in the holy land instead of working out solutions to the identified lapses.
