NGO Plans Drug Stores For Health Centre

A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Margret Market Sanitation and Health Foundation (MMSHF) has promised to build a block of stores at the Byazhin Health Centre, in Bwari area council.

Head of Programmes of the NGO, Mr. Ifeanyi Njoku, who disclosed this in a chat with journalists, said the stores when built would be stock with assorted drugs, which would be given to the residents free of charge, to help improve their health.

He explained that the organisation worked with relevant government institutions, ministries, departments and agencies in undertaking integrated support programmes for improving the environment, adding that the NGO also collaborated with human rights and civil society organisations, and other such groups in promoting communal good.

Njoku appealed to the chief of the community to supply the group with the labourers to assist the project handler. 
The Village Head of Chikakore,  Malam Ahmed Azacheyi,  expressed the gratitude to the NGO for choosing  the community to be among those that will benefit from its HIV sensitisation and prevention programme, and promised to deliver the message to the area council chairman, through the District Head of Byahzin, Mallam Usman  Baba.
