Anti-Graft War: PMB Is On Track, Says Nwoko

By Onyeanuna Onyedikachi, Abuja
A former member of the House of Representatives and sponsor of Public Funds Recovery and Reward Commission, currently known as whistle-blowing policy, Hon. Chinedu Nwoko, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government for the success of its ongoing anti-corruption campaign in the country.
Nwoko said he was fulfilled by the Federal Government’s determination to recover all looted public funds mainly through the whistle-blow policy, which also gives percentage of recovered funds to informants on whereabouts of such loots.
Popularly called “Ned” by his admirers, the former legislator who represented Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency between 1999 and 2003 told the Vanguard, Thursday, that he believed in President Buhari’s capacity to fight corruption as one of the ills plaguing the nation.
Speaking through his Personal Assistant, Mohammed Bologi, Nwoko said he felt a sense of accomplishment and happy because his efforts during his days in the National Assembly were yielding results.
