An Islamic cleric, Sheikh Usman Dahiru Bauchi has called on all well-meaning Nigerians to come together and address the prevailing herdsmen and farmers clashes which has led to the killing of many Nigerians.
Sheik Bauchi stated this while receiving the national president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo in his house on Saturday.
Bauchi, who commended the efforts of Bodejo in piloting the affairs of the Fulani association, assured him of his support in realisation of the agenda he has for the Fulani herders.
The cleric advised Bodejo to work with other well- meaning Nigerians in addressing the issue of kidnapping, cattle rustling and Fulani/Farmers crisis.
Bauchi said crisis were not known with the Fualni herders and advised the Fulani Socio-cultural group to ensure that addressing the herders/farmers clashes tops the agenda of his tenure.
