One of the most prestigious TV shows in Nigeria and Magazine, GA FILI GA DOKI TV and Magazine, finally unveiled its much anticipated new logo for its TV show and magazine at her award night which was graced by media personalities, politicians and entertainers from within and outside Abuja.
It was Hajiya (Dr) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu who bagged the Gafiligadoki Humanitarian Award at the just concluded event last weekend in Abuja that saw top notch personalities in attendance.
Hajiya (Dr) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, who was elated by the gesture, also thanked the organisers of the event, promising to improve in her humanitarian works and encouraging the public to be agents of change in their various fields of play.
Hajiya Aliyu, who is the (National Women Leader (APC) and also president, Council of African Political Parties, promised to do everything in her power to continue to help the downtrodden of the society.
Also Mr. Omoefe Ejere (GM Grand Cubana Hotels) was recognised as humanitarian service provider, 2017, while Rachel Bakam, as most friendly/supportive personality of the year 2017. Others were Moses Nwokedi (Big Mo) Wazobia Fm as most outstanding on air personality, Uzee Concept, most outstanding movie producer of the year, 2017. Anthony Ada Abraham, LEADERSHIP Entertainment and Tourism Editor, agent of positive change in entertainment, 2017; Amaka Fresh (Hot Fm) most adorable voice on radio, 2017.
Speaking after the event, the organiser, who doubles as an artiste and comedian, MC Terry, said the event celebrated prestigious Nigerians who have contributed in different ways to their communities and the country at large.
He further pointed out that the “I am speechless for the show of love by those who made out time to come. The event was very successful and I thank God almighty for giving me the strength and zeal to do this. I didn’t collect a dime from anyone. I just wanted to honour those who have been working underground without being acknowledged.” Terry explained.
