Masari Presents 2018 Budget Proposals To Katsina APC

Katsina State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Shitu S. Shitu, has disclosed that the State governor, Aminu Bello Masari, would lay the proposed 2018 budget of the state before the party’s stakeholders ahead of its presentation to the state House of Assembly.

He made this revelation shortly before the stakeholders’ meeting with Masari, his deputy, Mannir Yakubu; the speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Abubakar Yahaya Kusada, and other chieftains of the party in attendance who met behind closed doors to add their inputs to the budget preparation process.

Speaking at the opening of the forum held at the presidential banquet hall of Government House in Katsina, Shitu further explained that the Masari administration resolved to involve them in all affairs of governance since 2015 in recognition of the stakeholders as an important organ and as a result of its quest to run transparent and open door policy.

He expressed gratitude to the governor over its magnanimity to the party faithful and declared that Masari’s concerted efforts to give all a sense of belonging would continue to build a strong and united followership to restore the lost glory of the state.

Earlier, the Funtua zonal vice chairman of the party, Bala Abubakar Musawa, also said that the meeting was part of the current administration’s move to meet the yearnings and aspirations of Katsina people.

Musawa was optimistic that the deliberations and outcome of the forum would be quite fruitful in view of the personalities in attendance.
