The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may have plunged into another crises in Kebbi State as one of the candidate, Alhaji Musa Ibrahim Danillela who contested for the state Chairmanship position rejected the outcome of result which produced Alhaji Haruna Saidu, as the elected chairman.
Dan Illela who called for a press briefing in his residence in Birnin Kebbi on Monday expressed dissatisfaction and rejected the outcome of the congress.
He said that the state congress which was held at the weekend was lopsided and deliberately marred by irregularities designed to produce Alhaji Haruna Saidu, as the state Chairman.
‘’I used this opportunity to express our dissatisfaction and rejection of the outcome of the congress under reference. The congress was deliberately marred by irregularities,” he complained.
He also alleged that most of the officials were serving one interest group and names of delegates denied to him.
“Majority of the officials are serving one interest group, names of bonifide delegates denied to me while many of the delegates believed to be loyal to me were either denied entry into the venue or substituted from the list,” he alleges.
Dan Illela, appealed to his teeming supporters to remain calm while he relayed his complaint to the appeal committee for Justice and redress.
