The National Committee of Buhari Support Groups (NCBSG) has condoled with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over the loss of his eldest son, Jide Tinubu who died last week.
The group described the death as both saddening and shocking, saying the demise of Jide comes at a time when vibrant young men are needed in the service of nation building.
This was contained in a release issued by its coordinator, Wole Aboderin in Abuja yesterday even as it added that Tinubu’s loss is a loss to the country at large.
Aboderin noted that the BSG coordinates all the support groups for the president, and said it also bridges the gap of communication between the government and the masses.
He said, “We commiserate with our father Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the entire family, and the nation on the demise of his eldest son, Mr Jide Tinubu, we pray that Almighty God bless his soul with paradise, and also give us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
