The Team leader of Ali Kwara’s Special Anti robbery squad, ASP Williams Markus Bogoro retires, while commending his Boss for the extension of several benevolence and encouragement which went a long to motivate him throughout his 20 years with the “Crime Magnet”.

The historic achievements of Ali Kwara in combating crime in the north cannot be completely written without the operational and intellectually contributions of ASP Bogoro, who fought tirelessly to ensure that he sustains the light that glooms in the dreams and aspiration of his boss.‎

Bogoro who hails from Bauchi and served the Nigeria police faithfully for over 35 years, influenced several crack-down of robbery and kidnapp cases in the north and FCT, but it is hapless that since he became a police officer, the Nigeria police did not consider him for any favourable promotion as a motivation for the services. He has even fallen victim with his team on the hands of the police by been arrested on some ocassions in the cause of carrying their mission as undercover agents. As they were often mistaken as suspects in crime cases. ‎

He called on the Nigeria Police to always consider rewarding hardworking officers out there for their services as a way of motivating them to do more because there are a lot of them who had done so much but are not heard or rewarded in the society.

According to Mallam Idris Sule from Azare who spoke to journalist said, the Nigeria Police will forever miss Retired ASP Bogoro’s  contributions; after he sacrified lots just to bring towering glories to the law enforcement agency. He stressed that the former officer’s impacts and feats will never be forgotten.
