Cricket: NCF Invites 36 Players To Camp In Kaduna

The board of the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) has invited 36 female players to camp for an invitational tournament in Accra, Ghana.  
The invited players, who were selected from across the country, have been asked to resume at Murtala Square camp site, Kaduna State on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 for the first phase camping trials that will hold from December 28, 2017 to January 6, 2018 to select 16 best players that will going into final phase camping and intensive training from January 7 to 14, 2018 before the team departure to Accra, Ghana for the competition scheduled for January 19 to 23, 2018.

The 36 invited players are Jeeka Anido, Blessing Nwobodo, Grace Ifeanyi, Mary Desmond and Vivian Anyanwu, Jessica Jayok from Kaduna State. Others are 
Ashafa Modupe, Cecelia Ejeh, Oalat Aregbesola, Funmi Omoniyi and Luzi Ojobo from FCT. Those invited to the camp from Edo State were Vera Akhidenor, Agharese Okooboh, Victoria Emmanuel, Samantha Agazuma, Joy Efosa, Agatha Obulor and Kafayat Olusunde. While Kehinde Abdulquadri, Taiwo Abdulquadri, Rachael Samson and Seun Awonusi as well as Jessica Izuakor and Azuka Ekemezie were called to join the camp from Oyo, Ogun and Anambra States respectively.

Also invited are Eunice Sunday from Niger State, Blessing Etim (Akwa Ibom), Fate Fyneface and Ubelema Frank (River State) and Christy Bulus (Plateau State). While Hannah Ayoka, Ruth Ayyanaike, Mosunmola Job, Adetutu Oladare, Esther Birn, Shakirat Oyewole and Rosemary Itua from Lagos State were also invited to the camp.
