The Kwara state governor, Alh Abdulfatah Ahmed has dissolved the state executive council.
The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, announced the dissolution of the council in a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin, the state capital yesterday.
He said the dissolution was with immediate effect, adding that Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants are also affected by the dissolution.
He said the state governor, Alh Abdulfatah Ahmed has directed the commissioners to hand over to the permanent secretaries of their various ministries.
He assured the people of the state that additional measures have been put in place to sustain government business pending the reconstitution of the state executive council
Gold added that Ahmed thanked the former executive council members, special advisers and assistants for their valuable service and contributions and wished them the best of luck in their future engagements.
