… As Group Blames FG

The federal government has been accused of stoking the crisis that erupted into Fulani herdsmen attacks in the country.

Continental President of African Policing Marshal and a Central Executive Officer (CEO) of Policing Nigeria Awareness Initiative, HRH Ambassador Chief Egbe Akparakun Adun, made this allegation in an interview with LEADERSHIP in Abuja.

He expressed disappointment that President Muhammad Buhari  had not been bold enough to expose the killers and their sponsors as terrorists before  the international community.

He said: “We have them on ground and yet the government that is fighting corruption, insecurity and insurgence cannot take the bull by the horn anda mention the names of these sponsors.”

Akparakum, who is also partnering with organisations such as United Nigeria Chaplaincy (UNC) to ensure peace and stability in the country, said there was nothing like Fulani herdsmen attack.

“What we have is Boko Haram in disguise. Boko Haram is sharing operations and then nicknaming the next part of its operation as Fulani herdsmen.

“Fulani herdsmen have been living with Nigerians from the inception and we have not been seeing what we are seeing,” he concluded.
